<대학 입학 이렇게 준비했다>

Georgetown University of Foreign Service in Qatar, International Affairs and International Politics. Good thing about these college is that there are few students which allows the students to have a more interactive class with the professor. The college has money, which means they can support student’s projects.
3. 왜 현재 입학한 대학과 단과를 선택하게 되었는가? 그리고 대학지원과정을 자세하게 나눠주세요.
My parents introduced me to the college and I thought about it and applied, for my course I have always dreamed about working in the UN and for that to happen I needed to study international affair and politics. My application process was very weird but also made me realize that God was in control. During the college application season I only applied to colleges in USA (Calvin and Hope) and Europe (Dublin University, Bard Berlin, Webster) and out of these colleges I got accepted to Calvin, Hope, and Webster in Switzerland. Not only did I just get accepted but also got scholarships from all these colleges. I thought it was certain that I would go to one of these colleges but God had other plans. When I was in Oman during winter break, my dad took me to his friends house, who was a missionary as well, to get my essays checked from his daughter, Jueun Choi. Juen was studying at Northwestern in Qatar, she told me all about her life in Qatar and how great it was. After reading my essays she told me to apply to Georgetown in Qatar, which majored in politics and international affair. I did a research on the college and found out that it was out of my league. My SAT score was below the required score as well as my GPA. I decided that it was out of my reach and I will not apply, but my father consistently told me to apply to the college. There was no harm in applying so I applied. The moment after I applied everyday when I read the bible the story of Jonah kept coming to my mind. It was for a week this story was in my mind. For some reason if I went to USA or Europe for college I would have been like Jonah in Gods eyes. At this thought I told myself that I should give up on USA and Europe for college and look forward to Qatar or Korea (Korea being plan B). As winter break came to an end, on my way to the airport with my father, I told him that I will not go to USA or Europe for college. Then it was during my final semester in school I get an email from Georgetown in April that I have been accepted to the school. At this I realized that God had bigger plans for me. This is my college application story.
4. 대학입학 준비를 하면서 어려웠던 점
For me it was not difficult. I knew that God wanted me to go to Qatar or Korea for my college, so I trusted in Him which made it easy for me.
